The Traveling Saints
Holy Family Parish is pleased to welcome The Traveling Saints, an international Catholic apostolate dedicated to helping the faithful encounter the saints through the veneration of relics.
The Traveling Saints, an international Catholic apostolate based in Ireland, will bring 18 saint relics to Holy Family on September 10-11. Join us for this special opportunity to learn about the saints and venerate their relics.
Founded in 2014, The Traveling Saints began as a small prayer group ministry and has grown into a worldwide apostolate caring for more than 200 relics. Based primarily in Ireland, the apostolate has brought relic exhibitions and devotional events to parishes, shrines, and Catholic communities throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Europe. According to the organizers, their ministry has worked alongside priests, bishops, religious communities, and Catholic shrines for many years.
Among the apostolate's notable events was the first Saint Sharbel Conference in Ireland in 2025, held in conjunction with the largest relic exhibition ever displayed in Ireland. The Traveling Saints has also exhibited relics at Knock Shrine in Ireland, drawing more than 11,000 attendees. While the ministry's work in the United States is relatively new, having begun in 2025, it continues to bring opportunities for prayer, devotion, and catechesis centered on the saints.
During their visit to Holy Family, parishioners will have the opportunity to venerate 18 relics, including those of St. John of the Cross, St. Philip Neri, St. Teresa of Ávila, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Sharbel, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. Dominic, and others. Visitors are invited to learn more about these holy men and women while spending time in prayer before their relics.
