Welcome back, Father Rudy
We are pleased to welcome Fr. Rudy back to Holy Family the weekend of September 12-13, where he will share an update on The Maalgo Project, the educational initiative he founded to support children in his hometown in Ghana.
With support from our parish community, this project has expanded educational opportunities for children through the construction of a new school building, school resources, meal programs, and improved access to clean water. Together, these initiatives continue to make a meaningful difference for students and their families.
Following each Mass this weekend, Fr. Rudy will be available in the breezeway to meet parishioners, answer questions, and invite support to help continue providing educational opportunities and essential resources to the children and communities served by the project.
We invite you to join us in welcoming Fr. Rudy back to Holy Family for this visit and to learn more about the lives being transformed through this mission.
The Maalgo Project
Thanks to your support at Holy Family, the project has made great progress:
Many children who used to lay on the floor to study now have desks, making it easier to pay attention and learn.
School supplies such as textbooks, notebooks, pens and pencils have made learning easier and more pleasant.
Highly cherished lunch for many kids who come to school without breakfast. $0.25 feeds a child.
Access to clean water for the kids in school and for families.
New school construction is nearly complete
