Filipino Ministry, “FAHF”

The FAHF will foster the Catholic faith and fellowship among its members and the parishioners of Holy Family Catholic Church. Our monthly meetings focus on planning different activities, traditional adoration practices, charitable functions, and collaborating with other ministries to allow its members and the parishioners an opportunity to participate and strengthen their faith journey.

How did it come to be — that is, what is its origin and specifically — at Holy Family?

FAHF was initiated by Fr. Patrick before he left Holy Family June of 2022. Our ministry started off with 12-15 members. Officers were chosen by appointment amongst the initial members. The first meeting transpired June-July 2022.

How does your ministry/group serve the community of Holy Family? Surrounding community?

The goal of FAHF is to be able to share and preserve its rich Filipino culture, religious values, and traditions among its members, the Holy Family parishioners, current and future generations, to be able to support one another in enriching each and everyone's faith, spiritual journey and livelihood.
