Join Our Bereavement Ministry and Be a Beacon of Comfort and Compassion!

Are you searching for a meaningful way to make a difference in our parish community? Consider becoming a part of our Bereavement Ministry, where we offer solace, support, and a helping hand to those in their time of need.

Your Role as a Ministry Volunteer:

  • Work in teams of two or three

  • Assist with hospitality for grieving family members

  • Provide guidance and instructions to readers/speakers before Mass

  • Set up easels and arrange flowers with care

  • Lead and escort individuals as needed during Mass

  • Help families with cleanup

  • Offer assistance to the sacristan, as may be needed after Mass

  • Frequency: Once or Twice a month

  • Funeral Masses typically take place at 10 AM on weekdays

  • Commitment: 45 minutes before until 30 minutes after Mass
