A Night Out at Holy Family: Exploring Faith and Science

Is faith compatible with science? Many people assume the two are in conflict, but what if the latest discoveries in cosmology, physics, and biology point to a deeper story? Join us on Saturday, August 29, for an inspiring evening featuring a presentation and documentary film based on Stephen C. Meyer's Return of the God Hypothesis. Come for one part or stay for both as we explore the connection between scientific discovery, faith, and the search for truth.

Part I: Book Presentation & Discussion

6:00-7:00 PM

Explore the ideas presented in Stephen C. Meyer's Return of the God Hypothesis: Three Scientific Discoveries That Reveal the Mind Behind the Universe. This engaging presentation will highlight discoveries in cosmology, physics, and biology that Meyer argues point to the existence of an intelligent designer. The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session.

Part II: Documentary Screening

7:00-9:00 PM

Following the presentation, stay for a screening of The Story of Everything (2026), a documentary inspired by Meyer's book. Through compelling visuals and commentary from leading scientists, the film explores questions about the origin of the universe and the nature of life.
