Hi everyone,

It is with great pride that we celebrate one of the oldest and longest active members of our parish, Helen Murray. Helen is turning 101 next month and has been a parishioner at Holy Family since 1953. Over the years, Helen has twice served as President of the Holy

Family Altar Society, caring for the altar, sanctuary, and the Priests’ vestments. She helped organize the monthly bake sales which would contribute to the financial needs of the parish. Helen and her late husband Leo made the sacrifices to have all their five children at our parish school. They worked the Parish Fiesta and were involved in many other parish activities.

For over 50 years, Helen has faithfully attended both Sunday and daily Mass here while she was still able. She loves her Catholic Faith and shows a great devotion to our Blessed Mother in her daily rosary.

Helen, we are proud of you and inspired by you! Thank you for your total dedication to Holy Family.

Did you know that on Saturday the 13th Father Cheeyoon, Deacons Pedro and David and I prayed together with 58 parishioners in front of the Planned Parenthood in Orange? We began with the morning Mass then carpooled there. After praying for about an hour, our hearts were filled with a great satisfaction in knowing that we have lifted everyone in that building to God for the grace of conversion with love. We will be doing this every second Saturday of the month and invite you to join us in this beautiful time of prayers. The goal is to get to 100 of us there once a month. It is easy when the Holy Spirit is moving among us.

Each second Saturday of the month, join the Respect Life Ministry at Holy Family for Mass at 8:15 a.m. with Fr. Sy and Fr. Cheeyoon then carpool/caravan over to the sidewalk in front of the abortion clinic for peaceful prayer, led by the priests and deacons.

The Holy Spirit is moving among us, let’s catch on fire!
